Quentin is 26 years old and originally from Bordeaux, where he grew up among the vineyards as the son of a winegrower. Despite these roots on land, he’s always been deeply drawn to the sea. From a young age, he had the chance to sail with his father on the Arcachon Bay, and that passion for boats naturally led him toward a career in naval engineering.
He is now a composite materials engineer and naval architect, driven by challenges, innovation, and the energy people put into meaningful projects. Even as he moves forward, he remains strongly connected to his home region: Bordeaux and the Arcachon Bay.
During the Covid period, a simple moment changed everything: while throwing away an oyster shell, his cofounder and he wondered what could be done with such an underused resource.
Today, he uses his technical background to serve the environment and science by giving new life to oyster shell waste. They transform it into a natural marine construction material, returning to the ocean a part of what it has given us.
