André Faria is part of Startup Portugal, the national entity for the promotion of entrepreneurship, supporting the internationalization of Portuguese startups while maintaining and strengthening relationships with counterparts and key stakeholders around the globe.
In this role, he is responsible for managing the Business Abroad program, which facilitates the participation of Portuguese startups in international conferences and markets, coordinating partnerships with international entities that support the expansion of Portuguese startups into new markets, and representing Portugal in international economic diplomacy contexts related to innovation and technology.
With a background in Social and Cultural Communication and Marketing, over the past 15 years, he has been a strong advocate of community-driven culture as a driver of social progress, alongside technology.
